The Order of Ippssa

Thursday June 8th IPPSSA will be hosting The Order Of IPPSSA! Here the executive will give an oath to their position in a coronation ceremony, alongside a barbecue with hamburgers and hotdogs. Come join fellow IPPSSA students for a great night also for a great cause! Cost for this event will be 5$, which will include either 2 hotdogs or 1 hamburger. Outstanding proceeds will go to Shinerama for Cystic Fibrosis! We can’t wait to see you there!

City Hall Interns Blog (Winter 2017)

The University of Ottawa’s location in Canada’s capital brings our students lots of opportunities to work in politics and government including political party headquarters, the offices of Senators, and the offices of Parliamentary MPs. Often forgotten in the shadows of federal politics, municipal government presents another tremendous learning experience. That is why IPPSSA is pleased to have given our students the unique opportunity to intern in an Ottawa city councillor’s office this semester! For our first ever IPPSSA internship program, we received over
